Biosentinel by Hypercomf is an exploration into the personal, economic and labor relations that humans have formed with microbial life (both wild and domesticated).

They specifically focus on one of the most used and commodified of all microbes, the common baker’s yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and its role on food production, physical digestion process and NASA’s space missions.

The exhibition at TAVROS functions like an on-site laboratory with a DIY solar oven, a short film thinking about microbes, communities and consumption and finally a fermentation lab producing brews live from different "territories" of Athens, ready to be tried and tasted by exhibition visitors.
