A moving object in the form of a ball, soldered from wire, moves in space according to its own laws. As an "autonomous" system (driven by a cordless screwdriver), the rotating object takes on a random direction, restricted and realigned by the limitation of the spatial situation. It is a scanning, a search and a plumbing of space. Pigments piled up on the floor are distributed in the searching directions of the rotating object in the room. Associated with the happy coincidence (Serendipity), a slowly interlacing and condensing ground drawing emerges.
The installation reflects our social structures. Limits are set to freedom and individualism in order to preserve systems. Each microcosm is its own small system and thus part of the whole. The installative work tries to thematize and visualize this.
