T.A.F. / the art foundation continues its program CTRL+τ with a project by 24 deaf parrots which starts on Thursday the 8th and runs until the 12nd of February 2018.
CTRL+ τ is an initiative aimed at mobilising emerging local and international artists to deploy their artistic practice and develop a work in progress. Throughout the year and for a specific period, different artists are given control of T.A.F.’s physical and virtual space, in order to elaborate upon the concept of CTRL+τ with absolute freedom in terms of research methodology and artistic means.
Sound artist Vasilis Falaras takes over the gallery of TAF, developing a work in progress that will be open to the public for 5 days. This improvisational project is based on the daily, digital and non-digital distortion, as well as on the lack of symmetry through the creation of sounds and soundscapes, aimed at describing an experience; a continuous condition. The project emerged through the traveling experiences of the artist and the correspondence he had with photogrpahers and artists around the world.
