What happens when a calligrapher decides to blend calligraphy with music?

When pieces from musical instruments, music scores and vinyl records combine with parchment, hand-made paper, gold and silver leaves or inks of all sorts?

In the exhibition by Maria Genitsariou, historical fonts are modified to tone in with the musical piece they adorn or imply.

Well-known lyrics, poems with a musical feel or texts that have inspired music composers are hand-written, becoming literal verbal images that are afterwards transformed into song and music, inviting the viewer to “listen” to the image and to “read” the music.
