Οn Friday the 8th of December 2017, The Image Gallery invites you at the One-man exhibition of Angeliki Dekoulakou with title “Chromography III”. 
It is an artistic proposal on still life. This exhibition will feature the third and final segment in a photographic sequence. It constitutes an evolution of the earlier phases, which were presented in Athens, in 2008 and 2012.
“With these photographic series of Chromography, I aim to introduce a new photography that would constitute a photographical proposal, with featuring elements whose plasticity alludes to painting. At the same time, through personal research, my own photographic techniques and artistic work, I attempt to carry on and evolve the History of Still Art” points out the artist.
The work consists of two parts, which closely converse and interact with each other. The one part is black and white photographs taken with film and the other part is colour photographs taken with digital camera using a red filter. At the show, 35 large scale images will be presented (both black-and-white and red-black photographs), as well as 50 small dimension ones. 
The show will last 16 days and it is dedicated to Elias Dekoulakos, since he was the one who originally experimented with the red filter technique and, furthermore, because the year 2018 marks 20 years since his death.
