ONE DAY SHOW
Horizon is the line that divides all visible directions into those that intersect the Earth's surface and those that do not. Horizons are perspectives, boundaries marking the limits of our experiences and interests. Horizon is the line at which the earth's surface and the sky appear to meet. On this one-day program four artists from CAPACETE Athens juxtapose themselves, gathering a workshop, a performance and an installation to create a quick impact action and generate plans from which to gaze into possible common horizons in their practices.
Rehearsing horizontalities_workshop_by Eliana Otta (Peru)
How much effort do we put in stand still? Why do our daily activities demand that we detach ourselves from the ground? The ground is only for the defeated, or for resting, to recharge forces for the next quotidian battles. What if the ground is the best place to reflect about those battles? What if only after sharing the same ground, at the same time, can we discover another ways to share what comes after getting up?

Act 2_Installation_by Vasiliki Sifostratoudaki (Greece)
Collaborating with Rodrigo Andreolli expanding the idea of the sculpture “A million sponge knots per square meter” 2017 (plastic bags, size variable) The landscape created within the black materiality involves the movement of the singular body and language as well as the presence of the viewer, distributing equal roles to the audience, dancer and sculpture.
πέτρα άνθρωπος πλαστικό_ plástico pedra homem_ performance by Gian Spina (Brazil) and Rodrigo Andreolli (Brazil)
Three states of matter - mineral, animal and artificial - produced on the accumulation of history, carrying the accumulation of narratives. All equally subjected to gravity.
In this action the two performers will experiment three ways of activating the space by movement and speech. A set of black plastic bags and rocks are moved around as fragmented narratives start to emerge.
This a work in process in three acts.
Duration 1h30.
