The T.A.F. / The Art Foundation is pleased to present the exhibition titled "Post Internet, Now What", which will be inaugurated on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 19:00.

The "social" and the subjectivities formed within it are always products of their time—interwoven with ongoing processes of negotiation, regulation, control, and resistance. In the post-internet era of platform capitalism, these processes have shifted almost entirely to the topologies of social media networks. Users now operate under the daily governance of algorithms.

From Google’s Page Rank, which determines the hierarchy of search results, to Facebook’s Edge Rank, which dictates the order of content in our feeds, algorithms mediate the way we relate to data, digital media, and one another. Yet these functions are neither neutral nor autonomous. They are deeply embedded in the logic of the market and capital accumulation, serving specific structures of power.

This exhibition positions that relationship as a central political issue. Artists, through critical engagement with—or even by “hacking”—contemporary digital media, are invited to explore ways of understanding the "social" in the present, while also imagining its future configurations.

Can contemporary artistic practices invent new narratives and alternative representations of identity that break the link between digital tools and capital?
 And if the answer is indeed yes, how might these practices enter a politically emancipatory trajectory—one that proposes dynamics capable of challenging the dominance of platform capitalism?
