OKAY initiative space invites you to the first solo show of Paris-based artist Zoe Metra on Thursday 20.03 after 19.00.
Like Ghosts We Remain explores the liminal realm between real and fiction as a refuge of a harsh modern world. Zoe draws from two starting points, the summer loneliness of Athens and the delirious feeling created by social media combined with the global socio-political backdrop. The exhibition highlights the invisible, marginalized urban landscape and persistent personal memories. Through films, photographs and installations, Zoe Metra creates parallel worlds where imagination becomes a form of resistance. Between memory and reverie, her works offer a space for those who remain invisible and those who hide within us.
