R -- REMAINS PUBLICATION RELEASE/EXHIBITION
Remains bring together work from various artistic and academic disciplines, exploring questions of memory and power. In a world of constant change remains are found everywhere: obvious and obscure, ancient and recent, ephemeral and permanent. Remains “are the parts left over after other parts have been removed, used, or destroyed.” To remain “is to continue to exist, especially after other similar people or things have ceased to do so — to be left over or outstanding after others or other parts have been completed, used, or dealt with.”
