The future is scary... so let's make a musical about it! What better way to to tackle the challenges that face us today than to dive into the nostalgia of 80s pop music and scream our hearts out over a microphone. After six weeks of investigation, artist-in-residence Anne Marina Fidler invites you to join her for one final attempt at creating a post-capitalist future using the pop music of the 1980s. Come find out if it's really the end of the world as we know it or just a desperate attempt to sing that song in the style of REM.

The past 6 Wednesdays our artist-in-residence, Anne Marina Fidler, hosted the workshop: Remedies Against Panic. A series of performance experiments that are part of her research on participatory performance practices and post-capitalist possibilities. Exploring how one could create an interactive narrative for a post-capitalist future using pop songs from the 1980s.
