I miss you very much is the result of a collaborative process between Axel Burendahl and Trine Struwe. Motivated by an acute sensitivity to materials, they explore the narratives that are embedded within objects and surfaces. For their exhibition at ERGO Collective, they seek to evoke a place located between sculpture and language. The show is the outcome of a two-month residency at The Danish Institute at Athens.

Trine Struwe (b. 1988) lives and works in Copenhagen (DK). She graduated with an MA in Painting from Royal College of Art in London (UK) in 2020 and with a BFA from Malmö Art Academy (SE) and The Cooper Union in New York (US) in 2016. Previously her work has been shown at Saatchi Gallery (London, UK), Fold Gallery (London, UK), Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen, DK) and Lunds Konsthall (Lund, SE).

Axel Burendahl (b. 1985) lives and works in Malmö (SE) and Copenhagen (DK). He graduated with an MFA from Malmö Art Academy (Malmö, SE) and MauMaus (Lisbon, PT) in 2018. Previously his work has been shown at Delfi (Malmö, SE), Malmö Kunstmuseum (Malmö, SE), Sjöbo Konsthall (Sjöbo, SE) and Kunstscenen (Copenhagen, DK).
