Nana Seferli is a greek artist and Lucie Férézou is a french artist. They work together in Athens during last two months for the exhibition Under the Luna. The result is a combination of different practices, mixing sculpture, painting and installation.
Lucie asks, Nana answers.
Water and light have sexes, what Eros will say?
Eros would order them to dance eternally and exchange sexes when they get bored. Water would become masculine from feminine and light feminine from masculine.
Would you like to come to Douarnenez, paint the cold sea on the beach?
Yes, I would come to paint the sea in Douarnenez and surely dive into it even the cold break my spine!
Nana asks, Lucie answers.
If the moon was a rock in the bottom of the sea what you would do?
I would go to touch it with my hand…
«La lune rêve
A des chants onduleux
La lune rêve
La lune rêve à des lunes lumineuses
Entourées de lustres de soie
De grandeur lunaire.
Le début de cette lune
Est un nuage ailé.
La fin de cette lune
Est une bien fragile
Petite queue d’argile.»
Jean ARP, Extract of Jours Effeuillés, Sable de lune, 1957
Do you prefer flying or diving?
It depends on the temperature of the water and the one of the sky. Can I choose both?
