The artist-run space Center for the Fine Arts, founded by an independent artist group (Yannis Valavanidis, Kleopatra Digka, Thymios Panourias, and Yannis Psychopedis) was active in 1974–76 at Tositsa 5. It became a commercial space in the 1980s until closing three years ago. Georgia Sagri develops a continuum of performances and sculptural forms extending out from this site and into the city, with the same actions performed simultaneously in Kassel.
