Glam Slam! Athens is an open performance-art platform showcasing live staged works that can’t fit into the narrow definition of a “theatre play”. We are interested in encouraging a dialogue between various performing arts genres that share boundaries yet they belong to distinct fields: devised theatre, experimental dance & body art, music theatre, drag show, conceptual art & performance, cabaret/burlesque, stand-up comedy, poetry & spoken word, participatory happenings etc. We support works/acts that take a strong research-oriented, experimental approach and are rather playful/queer than over-serious/heavily-existential.
