** On identity politics: An artist talk by Olson Lamaj **
Olson Lamaj's work draws from the political aspects of the everyday life in Albania to refer to more universal issues. In this small and isolated, ex-communist country, nationalistic debates significantly impact everyday life and define the formation of cityscapes. Lamaj will address issues concerning the politics of new monuments and the management of communist heritage in the local context of Albania.
