Perspectives Art is an Athens-based group of artists from the Refugee, Local and International community coming together to promote integration and solidarity through their work and community-based activities.

Our fourth exhibition envisions the quote of Palestian poet Mahmoud Darwish: “And we love life, if we find a way to it”.
We aim to show the Flexibility and Resilience that goes into overcoming challenges and harsh conditions through many walks of life, including migration, social and political injustices through a variety of mediums. We seek to showcase ourselves in an individual capacity, reflecting our inner being without the restraints of labels and categorizations; while also showcasing the story of Perspectives Art as a team and our journey thus far. Creativity is a way to keep hold of dignity and identity. Any donations made throughout the exhibit go directly to the artist.

Our exhibition will be an opportunity for each artist to feature their work individually and also a review of our experience since September 2017 creating our studio space in the Communitism building at Kerameikou 28. We are happy to collaborate in this big exhibition with other social art groups: Love Without Borders - For Refugees In Need and United African Women Organization Greece/Οργάνωση Ενωμένων Γυναικών Αφρικήςand several other individual artists from all over the world.
