Andreas Pytlik was born in 1962 in Munich. After an apprenticeship in stonemasonry, he worked in the insurance business nearly ten years. He was sure though, that art was what he really wanted, so he dedicated himself exclusively in it. At Atelierhaus Munich he took drawing lessons with Gustav Mayer. Peter-Paul Tschaikner and Hermann Nitsch were his teachers in his summer academies. The last 20 years, green is the color that he uses the most as a painter, a sculptor, a photographer, a writer. Amongst others, his artworks were visited in Bosnia, Croatia, Denmark, Austria, Portugal and now for the very first time in Greece.
