Η CURRENT Athens είναι μία πλατφόρμα μη ιεραρχικής προώθησης της σύγχρονης τέχνης.
Christos Tzivelos (1949-1995) was a singular force among the artists of the Greek diaspora in Paris in the 80s. His site-specific self-illuminated installations in rusted iron, wax, and resin echo the esoteric investments of alchemical transmutation and express a wry interest in the advertising language of interior design.
‘Christos Tzivelos: Store in a Cool Place’ is an exhibition in review composed solely of documentation rather than original artwork. Several analog prints by Tzivelos of photographs that he took of his installations, together with documentation taken by others, offer a parallax view of his practice as seen through the eyes of an install photographer or himself when acting as one.
