An epilogue, in its freedom, allows the author to drive our thoughts away from the main story in order to conclude the narration. It is a fragment of time and space on its own, and at the same time a space in which the protagonists, the characters of our stories, start to take a life other than the one they had been trapped into by the author’s narrative.

 

Yellow Brick is a non-profit workhouse for ‘local’ and ‘not so local’ artists & art collectives, curators, writers, thinkers and makers, investigating the relational prospects of Reading, Writing, Making & Showcasing and the space between them. Since 2016, it has been instigating a plethora of research trajectories based on affect relations with people, nature, institutions, infrastructures, objects and everything in the seams/ραφές.

 

Yellow Brick advocates ideas of co-authorship in the form of multidisciplinary dialogues as open modes of operating within cultural and social fields, branching out to the community of Nea Ionia – a migrant neighbourhood in the periphery of Athens. Agents involved in/with its entity function as hosts and participants, gardeners and blossoming gardens, as activators of poesies, of forms and of ideas and as everlasting carries rather than transmitters/receivers of its essence.

Yellow Brick remains always a Line whose edges and flow is similar to the river's; a river going towards the sea implying its bounding relation within a vast landscape. Yellow Brick is Vasiliki Sifostratoudaki.
