Anliza (Lam Tsz Ching), a young artist from Hong Kong_China, opens her solo show on the Archeaology of Everyday - titled "Lucere, levis" at Π Artworks, Lekka 30, Syntagma, tomorrow_ Thursday 20 September, 7.00-9.00 p.m. Anliza is Artist In Residence at FaveLAB programme_One Artist A Week, a Greek-German private initiative running for the second year in a row and aiming at connecting Athens to the global contemporary art scene. Anliza writes: “I would like to use found-objects in the city of Athens to make paintings and develop a large scale abstract installation by making marks of the historical sites, human activities and landscape of the city. By mixing different materials such as charcoal powder , lipsticks, dry pastel , liquids and residues collected from the sea, streets and restaurants , I aim to create a collective historical/social texture of the city. It’s an experiment on the “archaeology of the Everyday”.
