Ocean liners and cruise ships dock with an intricate mix of commerce, national concerns and leisure. Travelling various distances, temporarily anchoring in fixed places, the liner is a form of transportation that throughout its life has delivered many items and concepts; from fashion to war, weapons to dances, migration to tourism.
Taking this as a starting position, the exhibition handle to door, half-bittersweet brings together the performative and material-based practices of Raluca Croitoru and Dan Fogarty.
