Sophie Vallance Cantor (b. Stirling, Scotland, 1993) studied at Camberwell College of Arts in London and has lived and worked in Berlin, Germany since 2015. The multidisciplianry nature of her work derives from the ideology that anything and everything is usable material. Although she employs drawing, sculpture and film, the core of her practise is always an inevitable return to painting. She has exhibited in London in multiple spaces including ‘Mall Galleries’, ‘CGP Gallery’, and ‘Arch Collective’, and participated in ‘24 Hour Project’ a collaborative project with other practitioners from Camberwell College of Arts. She has two upcoming exhibitions for 2017 in Berlin.
