In Greek mythology ,the labyrinth was built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos Its function was to hold the Minotaur , the monster eventually killed by the hero Theseus. It's a myth. But what reality is hidden behind this symbolism ? The artists in their paintings offer their own vision of the Labyrinth.
