OKAY initiative space invites you at Semina Milarokosta's first solo show this Wednesday after 19:00.
How is (cyber)space inhabited by women? How do they think of, shape, or share it? The question becomes urgent again in a period when the unrestrained power of tech bros canonizes the fantasy of an extraterrestrial beyond, in the form of an oligarchic colonization. Milαrokosta’s heroines do not search for new planetary lands but intrude former industrial units, carving anguished routes with no obvious destination. They navigate the ruins of Athens’s industrial zone, gamifying the underbelly of the Athenian landscape as emancipated NPCs.
