During his Residency at Phoenix Gallery in Athens, Atkinson created a body of work that reflects his memories of childhood, his observations and the feelings evoked by the city of Athens, its citizens, and their relationship with one another. Born in Margaret River, Australia and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Felix Atkinson is an artist living and working in Melbourne. Felix's paintings are created through personal experience and his developing relationship with history, spirituality, time and place.
