The present exhibition at the 2/3 project space is a set of textile works by Iliana Bardi, presented for the first time. With fabric as a starting point, as a field of visual exploration, the artist crumples, tears, separates, joins, cuts, glues, colors and prints. The material, treated with natural and artificial dyes, sometimes crumpled and sometimes stretched, is used with immediacy, highlighting its fragile materiality and recalling its relationship with human everyday life.

The artist, through an improvised "mantra" that works liberatingly, "carves" with free gestures, early forms, remnants of routes. She persistently marks irregular lines in iterative trajectories. Compiles groups of traces, shapes and symbols. Composes a calendar of visual assemblages made from structural elements and written forms.

 These works, without describing the subject, suggest the past and the future at the same time.  They pose an uncertain location, intend to talk about these worlds that exist inside and outside the person, they refer to stasis and flow, chaos and logic, pulse and time. They thus seek to create a welcoming visual environment of awareness.
