Finding a new way and new form to keep on working, presenting new and upcoming artist to the Athenian public

Ernst van Deursen, born in Amsterdam, 1971, has worked as a "Gun For Hire" to do photography in the Amsterdam Art scene for two decades. Now he lifted his anchors, and went where his heart feels life shows it's contrasts and complexities.

Spring 2023 he travelled from Teufelsberg Berlin to the Potemkin Stairs Odessa, by bicycle and train, via Poznań, Warsaw, Przemyśl, Lviv, Velyka Vilshanytsia, Ternopil, Borodyanka, Bucha, Irpin and Kyiv, to see with his own eyes how people deal with war, in landscapes with frequently changing borders.
