Neal Rock has created an environment for drawings that were made during his residency in Athens. Since 2016, Rock has developed a drawing practice that sits adjacent to his dimensional silicone paintings. A professor at The University of Virginia, Rock has been looking at the sedimented layering of information found across Athens, but particularly the immediate neighbourhood of Exharcheia where the effects of the environment play a key role in the entropic overload of the city's visual landscape.
