Phoenix Athens proudly announces "Uphill" with paintings by Cypriot-Australian artist Chris Gaynor.

Gaynor examines the symbolism attached to the act of walking uphill - the laborious pursuit of freedom, of pure intention and the work involved, while searching for the authentic word.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chris Gaynor is an Australian artist with Cypriot heritage who is now based in Greece. Gaynor's creative process is informed by his own verse and prose, the works of other artists, and details observed from within the surrounding environment.
