Conscious of the possibilities of fire as a chaotic attractor – as a terraforming principle of human beings, and a loop of creation and destruction of their social activities – CROMA proposes an exhibition that invokes the powers of an original fire that constantly (re)emerges in scattered flashes: biological extinctions, toxic spills, organic alterations, technological hypertrophies, returns and recycles of old myths parasitized by new ideologies… The selection of artists is envisaged as a concentration of gazes before the imminent. The installation in Space.52 becomes a speculative stage for contemplating a system that requires several suns to exist – a place to disperse the smoke, a refuge outside time, a horizon that sees farther from that which the extinction insists on pointing out: a vision of worlds that burn.
