A set of works that resulted from the recycling of paper surfaces on which various compositions and shapes were painted, as a result of charcoal drawing exercises. Through their observation, in a search for visual stimuli and associations that will serve as a starting point for the creation of new, internal images at the expense of the old and using as a means of expression painting and collage, the previous compositions through the intuition and the critical ability of the creator are reworked and gradually appropriated as they are transformed, risking their detachment from their starting point, entangling two different approaches and time periods in a new whole.
The above works gather and flood the space of a room where they will converse with the sounds of the experimental music group "Devilish Trio", which will present its own observation about a live recording made during an earlier exhibition of Arurkokk. The musical group Devilish Trio consists of: George (violin), Sakis (double bass) & George (Trumpet). Arurkokk started as a self-taught artist and after graduating from the Department of Economics of the University of Ioannina, he continues his studies at the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences of the School of Fine Arts of the same University. He creates images with various techniques and means of expression such as painting, engraving, collage, in an effort to map interior landscapes and visualize the intersection of the inner voice with the external noise. He makes artist books and limited edition publications. He has exhibited in Greece, Thailand and Australia in solo and group exhibitions.
