CURRENT Athens is an online platform for the non-hierarchical promotion of contemporary art.
Flux Laboratory Athens supports Persa Stamatopoulou’s Contemporary Dance Company and the new dance production titled "Traces". The project is negotiating the mapping of the human imprint in space and time through a sound installation, drawing material from world history events.
On Thursday, March 12 at 7 pm, Flux Laboratory Athens will host a discussion about the project, during which the audience will be sitting around a table in dialogue with the contributors. The Field Trip event is an opportunity to share thoughts about the dance piece and its background research in conversation with the choreographer, Persa Stamatopoulou, as well as to learn about the artistic practice of the dancers Daphne Stathatou and Nikos Kalivas and the framework of Coti K.'s sound installation.
The discussion will be held in Greek.

The dance piece ‘Traces’ will be performed at the Benaki Museum on the 4th and 5th of April 2020 at 20.30 in the form of a performance-installation with the support of NEON Organization for Culture and Development.
