“Doldrums” is a two channel video installation of animated projections on a reflective surface, sending light refractions across the gallery and onto the viewer’s body. These refractions cast caustic imagery across the gallery floor and walls, undulating like the watery imagery. An animation of the moon above a calm ocean contrasts with a stereoscopic wireframe of the video viewable in 3D. ‘Doldrums’ contemplates the transmission of information through light.
