On Saturday 31 March 2018, Bill Psarras will initiate his new performative work “We Are All Cities: Electricities” led by light bulb and memory, also curated by cultural theorist/curator Eva Kekou. The work constitutes a psychogeographical collaborative site specific walk (audiovisually documented).
Bill Psarras sets the stage for a psychogeographical poetic situation; a light procession; which will be take place in the streets of Koukaki towards the mount of Filopappou. The participants/walkers (10) will walk together in the streets and neighbourhoods; having light and voice as performative indications of their memory.
Following the cultural traditions of flaneur and psychogeography, the work explores the performative and sensory relationship between the walker and the object having place, city and geopoetics at its core.
