Along with the art historian and curator Antonia Rahofer, Stefania Strouza will guide through her solo exhibition “Currents and Currencies” presenting her artistic work, which focuses on historical and metaphorical ties between flows and currencies, thus blurring the boundaries between nature and economy.

Stefania Strouza was born in 1982 in Greece. She lives and works in Vienna and Athens. She wrote her Diploma thesis on the subject of "Textual Sculpture" at the “Akademie der Bildenden Künste Wien” at Heimo Zobernig. Furthermore, she completed a MFA in Art, Space and Nature at the Edinburgh College of Art and got a Diploma in architecture from the Athens University of Technology. She is presenting her work at international exhibition since 2004. In 2015 she won the Award of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Stefania Strouza will also show her work this autumn at the 6th Thessaloniki Biennale "Imagined Homes".
