Α product of collaboration between three curators, Louisa Karapidaki, Cleopatra Fatourou and Elisabeth Romberg, the visual arts exhibition entitled “INNER OUTFITS”, features works by artists from Greece, Norway, Sweden and France. 

Every day we are all called upon to fight several different battles, both against society and against ourselves. The curators of the exhibition asked participating artists to reflect on what it is that affects each one of them the most, as well as how they believe they can cope with it, armoring themselves against the erosion and pain that it may be causing them. Thus, the artists created their own personal “armors,” their own defensive techniques, which they are presenting to the public as a reference to the attacks we all sustain on a daily basis by the violence that surrounds us but also to the inner war each one of us experiences when confronted with his or her personal fears and shortcomings.

As part of the exhibition, organized by the Hellenic American Union and Hellenic American College (HAEC) in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Nashua, NH, USA), performances by Kleoni Manoussaki and Christina Foitou will also be presented.
