Three Artists seemingly from three separate worlds. Different arts, different medium of expression, different personal story!
They meet, manifest and express themselves through their works, unfolding the beauty of the soul.
Mike the Athens, the mystical tattoo artist who seduces with the Oriental culture into the art of tattooing! On the opening day, he leads a live performance, using a Japanese calligraphy technique called "Shodo".
Danae Dorothea deals with advertising and art photography in Greece and Asia. At the same time, she travels to eco-communities and collectivities, following a natural, autonomous and self-sufficient way of living.
Sophia Tara, with roots from Greece, Sri Lanka and America, is inspired by the freedom of colours and shapes. Her work is a living portrait of the moment manifesting itself and the beings she meets. "Life itself is an expression of art, and I thank it".
Point Zero symbolises the starting point of the Arima Gallery, which suggests a new way of experiencing art, regardless of the concept of space and time.
About the MacART Cultural Space
Five years ago, MacART owners' love of art gave birth to the company's non-profit Cultural Space, which hosts major cultural events on a regular basis. The inauguration of the especially designed space took place in October 2014 with an exhibition that hosted works by 21 distinguished contemporary artists from the company's collection. A number of artistic events have since taken place, such as photography exhibitions by major Greek photographers ("Interiors", "The Closed City: Eyes on the City"), an exhibition with digital giclée prints bearing the signature of contemporary Greek artists ("Art in multiples"), "Allegories & Muses" by designer Peter Boyadjieff and painter Daniela Zekina, charity bazaar to boost the work of international NGOs, as well as other cultural events that have always received a great response and visit from museum managers and lounges, famous gallery owners, art critics and historians, collectors, journalists and, of course, artists.
